STEPHEN HAWKINS

Stephen was born and raised in England to Jewish parents. Stephen came to the Lord in 1966 at a Billy Graham Crusade in London, England. Prior to Stephen coming to the Lord, he lived in 32 foster homes and was abused 56 times. At the age of 11, he tried to commit suicide, but Jesus spoke to Stephen, and he came to the Lord. Esther was born and raised in India to missionary parents. At the age of 19, she came over to Canada and attended Bible College in Regina. Stephen has been a missionary with Operation Mobilization (OM) since 1972, serving in England, Europe, India, Israel, and on the ship Logos. Esther has been with OM since 1977. Now Stephen and Esther are living in Toronto as OM Ministers at Large. They spend time teaching and training young people for mission work overseas. They also work among Jews and East Indians. Stephen and Esther also travel to Chile, Paraguay, and Brazil to teach and train South Americans for World Evangelism. Stephen also teaches on Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism and Judaism in Churches and Bible schools to equip people to reach ethnic people groups with the Gospel.
